Anner Lee
Hammons
Oct 13, 1951 — Nov 30, 2019
Hampton
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2.
Anner Lee Sullivan Hammons entered this world on October 13, 1951 in Hampton, Arkansas. She was the second child born to the late Robert Lee and Chedie B. Perry Sullivan. She made her transition from this vessel on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ann was full of joy and laughter. She really liked to have fun and she especially liked to joke and clown around with Cynthia Mae and Emma Sue. It was so easy for her to make Emma Sue laugh. She loved going to Cynthia Mae's house to see her buddy, Woody, because she knew Woody would have some popcorn or if he didn't have any popped, he would get up and pop her some. She loved that because it made her feel "special". She liked feeling special and spoiled.
Ann regularly attended Jacksonville Senior Citizen and Wellness Center. Being with her friends there was the highlight of her day. When she wasn't there, she was missed by all! She was the Bean Bag Baseball Champion of all times! Yes, she had the trophies to prove it! The girl was good! Ann was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Jacksonville under the pastorage of Rev. Craig Carter.
Ann was married to the late Curtis Hammons of Little Rock. She leaves to cherish her memories; Three (3) children: Willie Jr. of Jacksonville, AR, Josey of Hampton, AR and Earnest Jr of Los Angeles, CA; a son, Anthony preceded her in death; one sister: Lillie Randall of Hampton, AR, two brothers: Joe of Grady, AR and Moses of El Dorado, AR; three brothers preceded her in death Malvan (Bo), Tommy Ray, and Ben, one aunt, Min. Lola Petties of Chicago, IL. One grandson, Greylon, a god sister, Henrietta of Hampton, AR; Nieces: Shan, Tashunda, Chaibee, Kenyata, Brianna, Kyi, Taylor; Nephews: Brent, Stacy, Jayln, and Jayshon, a very dear friend, Mary Elizabeth (AKA Chocolate), and a host of cousins and friends.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:3
