Arthur Taylor was born on March 21, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, but his roots were always in Arkansas. He moved to Dardanelle, Arkansas as a young man where he remained until he passed.

Arthur accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He received his formal education in the Harmony Grove School District. After high school, Arthur attended trade school where he received his CDL Class A and Electrical Certifications. Arthur found his love for heavy machinery in his career in heavy civil construction.

Arthur enjoyed going to rodeos, fishing, building and painting scale model cars, and spending time with his many grandchildren. Arthur met the love of his life and lifetime partner, Lisa and celebrated 28 years of marriage as of 2026.

Arthur Taylor departed this life on Sunday, May 24, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother Linder Faye Green and father Harold Green.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Lisa Taylor of Dardanelle, Arkansas; five children, Amanda Taylor (Jonathan) of Russellville, AR, Kelsey Scott (Dawan) of Atlanta, GA, Kelly Young of Little Rock, AR, Christopher Blake Scott (Monica) of Jonesboro, AR, LaToya Young of Dardanelle, AR, Kevin (Haley) of Russellville, AR, Jessica Thompson of North Carolina, Joshua Dunlap (Brittany) of Little Rock, AR, and Tia Dunlap of Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Tracey Taylor of Shreveport, LA, Theresa Taylor of Shreveport, LA; Bridgett Hampton (DeMario) of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren ; two aunts, T Ruby (Eugene) Sapp and Clara Ford of Camden, AR; his loving in-laws Betty "Madear" and Richard Taylor of Dardanelle, AR and a host of loving in-laws, relatives and friends
