Charles Lee
Purifoy
Nov 1, 1948 — Dec 15, 2024
Camden
Charles Lee Purifoy was born on November 1, 1948, to Felton and Pearlene Purifoy. Under this union, he was the second oldest of four sons.
Growing up as someone with a love for the outdoors, being an avid hunter and fisherman, he found enjoyment spending time with nature. Being out in the woods brought great joy and peace to his life. He also loved working with his hands building structures and servicing mechanical equipment.
As a young man, he served in the United States Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal as a Sharpshooter. He also served in the United States National Guard. After serving in the military, he went on to work independently and then for companies in Camden, Arkansas where he finally retired from the Arkansas Department of Transportation after many years.
Charles Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Pearlene Purifoy, along with his brother, Henry Lee Purifoy and son Marcus Purifoy.
Charles Lee leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Crystal Purifoy of Haslet, Texas; Monica Fort (Eric) of Fate, Texas; and one son, Charles (Tyrone) Bragg (Traci) of Grand Prairie, Texas.
Charles Lee had four grandchildren, Jewellen Fort (Monica), Naveah Purifoy (Crystal), Emaure Fort (Monica) and Thaxton Bragg (Charles).
Charles Lee also leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Walter Purifoy (Deborah) and David Purifoy both of Camden Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
