Charles "Spike" Williams was born on September 24, 1935, in Chidester, Arkansas to Endia Curry Williams and David Williams. He departed this life on August 31, 2017 at his home.

He united with Mt. Willie Baptist Church at an early age. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Verna Mae Neal on April 21, 1961. He attended Williams Center School. Before retirement he was self-employed as a pulpwood hauler.

He was preceded in death by his father David Williams, his mother Endia Williams. His twin sister Norma Jean Williams Harris, niece Francine Williams and nephew Donald Ray Bazzelle, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Verna Mae Neal Williams. One son George "Shake" (Milk Shake) Williams and wife Linda of Camden, Arkansas. One daughter Lisa Williams of Camden, Arkansas. One brother James Williams and wife Lilly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One sister Ruthie Bazzelle of Russellville, Arkansas. Brother-in-law Edward Harris of Chidester. Nine grandchildren: Corey Williams (Karen), LaVerne William-Lois (Corey), Brittany Williams-Jones and Shannon Williams, all of Fort Worth, Texas, Nadia Williams-Sanders(Donta) of Little Rock, Arkansas. Jordan Williams of Kansas City, Kansas. Kendra Barker, DeAngelo Hughes and Anthony Charles Williams of Camden, Arkansas. Three great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
