Obituary

Mrs. Clemestine Lambert Green, a woman of great spirit and strong determination was born June 20, 1954, to Clementhis Lambert. and Dorothy Jean Williams.  She left us on September 7, 2023.

Clemestine was proceeded in death by her father Clementhis Lambert Sr., sisters Marie Morow and Merlin Horton, and her brother Nathaniel Hicks.

She confessed Christ as her personal savior at an early age and attended Churches in Arkansas. She often told stories of how her grandmother would make her sing in church, but others tell it different, that Clemestine wanted to sing whenever she got a chance.

Clemestine attended primary and middle school in Sparkman, Arkansas.  After moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a pre-teen, she completed high school there.  Later she went on to further her education studies at Concordia University Mequon with a focus on Criminal Justice & Public Policy.  After completing her studies at Concordia in Milwaukee, Clemestine relocated to New York where she worked as a Social Worker, working as an advocate for children and their families.   After retiring and moving back to her original home state of Arkansas, the one thing she did miss in her heart, was helping her families, as she called them.

Clemestine was the embodiment of a life lived with purpose, joy and kindness that endeared her to all who knew her.

Her distinctive personality was marked by her humor, generosity, independence, and a unique blend of determination, often visible in a stubborn streak that carried her through life's challenges.  Her nurturing spirit and immense care for others was clear in the relationships she built through her life.

Among those who will immensely Miss Clemenstine include her mother Dorothy Jean Williams, two sons Julius (Kelly) Williams and Ronald Vasser. Five grandsons, Justin, Thomas, Juliu Jr., and Jaylon.  One granddaughter Jatarah. Seven sisters; Glenda, Maxine, Julie (Nico), Jovita, Anita Pamela and Debbie (Melvin).  Five brothers; Vaughn, Memp Jr (Laurie)., Ray Charles (Gloria), Ricky, Lee, and Anthony (Gabe).  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Their shared memories and laughter and lessons will continue to live on in all those whom Clemestine has touched.
