Derek K. Brown 30, of Prescott, was taken to everlasting paradise October 13, 2021, far too soon from his loved ones. Derek attended Camden Fairview High. He was employed at Rent A Center, in Fordyce, Arkansas.

Derek was the kind of person to help anybody. He made friends anywhere he went. His favorite past times were fishing, listening to music, watching movies and planting his garden. Derek loved his mother, Janice Brown. He was the male version of his Mother. He enjoyed having nice things. He enjoyed joking around ad making people laugh. Derek was the type of person you wouldn't find in a large crowd.

Derek Brown completed his life's Journey on October 13, 2021, in Camden, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by a host of family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memories mother: Janice Brown, of Camden, Arkansas; father: Billy Ray Williams of Camden, Arkansas; his brothers: Rontario "Man" Brown of San Diego, California; Jerrod Williams of Camden, Arkansas and brother and sisters. He also leaves behind a nice TaKasia Brown and a nephew Norea Brown; uncles: Curtis Brown, Prescott, Arkansas, and Anthony Johnson of Grand Prairie, Texas, aunts: Annie Gossett of Camden, Arkansas, and Carolyn Burton of Bluff City, Arkansas, Al & Gail Anderson; his beloved companion Mindy Copley and her two boys Cadence Yancey and Johnny Copley of Camden, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
