Brother Donald Steven Nixon was born in Prescott, AR to the union of late Donald Nixon Sr. and Gloria Stueart Nixon on August 31, 1967. He received the Lord as a young man. He was a member of Cothran Chapel CME Church in Prescott AR. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in broadcasting at Henderson State University. While attending the university, Donald fulfilled a lifelong dream of radio broadcasting for the university's radio station.

Donald was a strong and courageous man of great faith. His faith was exemplified by his shear will to live even when many doctors had given up on him.  Donald's love for life and the Lord allowed him to live far beyond what could be understood by man.

Donald was an extraordinary man.  His interests included books, music, family gatherings, old TV shows, world news and traveling.  Although his interests were multifaceted, his love of the Lord was above all.  Donald enjoyed attending church services, but when his health made that fellowship impossible he had worship service at home.  God used Donald's life to show evidence of His Glory and the power of a true Miracle.

In his last days he expressed that he was tired and requested the presence of his siblings.  With his family at his bedside, the proof of God's glory was spoken from Donald's lips.  He stated, "I have seen the mountaintop. It was amazing!"  To know Donald is to know that Miracles do happen and God is still in Control.

He departed this life on September 3, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Nixon Sr & Gloria Stueart-Nixon and brother Patrick O'Neal Nixon.

He leaves to cherish his memory siblings Trina (Tony) Gantt of Little Rock, AR, Nicole (Charles) Simon of Prescott, AR, Ada (Raymond) Dismuke of Wake Village, TX, Ruth (Robert) Muldrew, Phillip Nixon both from Prescott, AR, & Don Cornelius Nixon of Texarkana, TX, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
