On Thursday morning, May 6, 2021, in the early hours, Sister Flora Mae Welch-Furlow passed into the Lord's embrace at Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation. Those waiting to meet her in the presence of the Lord her parents: Sylvester and Irene Mitchell-Welch; two sisters: Florene Welch and Trudell Albert-Porchia, three brothers: Willie D. Welch, Frank Welch, Levester Welch and James Welch all lived in Camden, Arkansas.

Sister Flora Mae Welch-Furlow was born February 4, 1944, in Chidester, Arkansas. She attended the Pleasant Hill School System in Chidester, Arkansas and Lincoln High School, Camden, Arkansas. She married John Richard Furlow in June 3, 1967, and no children were born from this union.
She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories five brothers: John Welch of Camden, Arkansas, Johnny Lee (Jackie) Welch of Texarkana, Texas; Ezekiel Welch and Aaron Welch of Camden, Arkansas and David Welch of Grady, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
