A GLIMPSE INTO HIS LIFE

George Burris was born November 28, 1952 to Harvey and Lorene Burris. He departed this life on July 3, 2019 at Hospice Home Care of Little Rock, AR. George join Good Home Baptist church at an early age. He attended Lincoln School until he transferred to Camden High.

George drove trucks for 49 years until his health failed. George was a lover of his trucks. George never met a stranger. George was very compassion when it came to driving cross country.

George was married to Lois Sumler to this union two children was born. Eddie Ray Sumler and Michelle Curtis. Later George married Frances McKenzie and assisted in the rearing of Shunda McKenzie Williams.

George was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Lorene Burris and Sister Rosemary Cunningham.

He leaves to cherish his memories children Eddie Ray Sumler, Michelle Curtis (Anthony), Crystal Ellis of Camden, AR; Reggie Miller of Chidester, AR and Dana Dennis (Amy) of Bernice, LA. and three brothers; Kevin Burris, Dave Burris, Wayne Burris all of Camden AR

Nine Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
