Jesse Hargrove age 95, of Camden, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Courtyard Rehab and Nursing Facility in EL Dorado, Arkansas.

Jesse was born June 30, 1928, to Jerry Hargrove I and Plinney Elliott Hargrove in Louann, Arkansas. He was the fifth of six children. Jesse professed his life to Christ at an early age.

Jesse Hargrove married Vera Elliott in 1954 and to this union two children were born, Robert C. Elliott and David W. Hargrove. Jesse and Vera were married for 64 years until Vera departed this life in 2018.

Jesse graduated from Nevada County Training School in Rosston, Arkansas. After graduation he attended Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jesse was drafted by the US Army and served in the Korean War and was later released on honorable discharge.

Jesse is survived by his son David W. Hargrove of San Jacinto, California and a daughter-in-law Janice Elliott of Houston Texas, 6 grandchildren, Robin Elliott-Porter of Houston Texas, Tacita Hargrove-Williams of Victorville, California, Jessica Elliott of Houston, Tx, Jeffrey Hargrove of Riverside, California, Stephanie Elliot-Richardson and Robert Sean Elliott of Houston, Tx, 5 great grandchildren, a brother Jerry Hargrove of Chicago, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
