Jimmy Wayne King was born August 29, 1948, to the late Calvin King and Ruthie Martin King. Jimmy united with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until he was called into eternity. Jimmy was a Vietnam veteran and he served in the US Army from May 2, 1968 to December 4, 1969.
Jimmy united in holy matrimony to Bessie Freeman King, on September 9, 1967. To this union three children were born: Felicia Renee Morehead, Ronald Dewayne King (Aleatha) and Jason Tyrone King (Chantae). He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 33 years of service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife of 50 years Bessie King; two sons: Ronald King and Jason King; one daughter: Felicia Morehead, all of Camden, AR; one brother: James King of Camden, AR; one sister: Shirley Jones of Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren: Ashley, Tyrah, Briana, Kristian, Jadulin; three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.
