Lawrence Hamilton was born on January 27, 1935, in Buena Vista, Arkansas to Martha Hicks and William Hamilton. He departed this life on October 3, 2017.

He united with Bethel A.M.E. Church in 2009. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Joe Ruby Whitney. He was a retirement construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his wife, one grand daughter Carla West and one brother Hardy Hamilton.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son Christopher Boone, Milwaukee, WI; four daughters, Linda Dye, Michelle Jackson, Katrina Hamilton and Rose Thompson, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 13 great great children. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
