Lessie Rene Ferguson Roddy was born June 18, 1931, to William Henry and Annie Utsey Ferguson.

She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and united with St. James Baptist Church where she served as usher, mission leaders and many other areas.

She was a 1951 graduate of Lincoln High School, Camden.

She was employed as a domestic worker and loved taking care of children.

She met and married Charles James Roddy who preceded her in death.

Four sisters and five brothers preceded her in death, Shirley, Verdana, Ruth, Elizebeth: brothers, James Hamp, William, Layman, Henry, and John.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We celebrate Lessie Rene's farewell knowing that she's in God's loving care.
