Brother Melvin Miller was born to the late Jesse Miller and Lula Mae Miller on June 14, 1954, in Dumas, Arkansas. On Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Hickory Heights Health and Rehabilitation in Little Rock, Arkansas, God sent an Angel to bring home. He was a member of the Dumas High School Class of 1973. He joined the First Baptist Church of Pickens at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse James Miller, his grandparents who raised him Clinton Hawkins, Sr., Cascinie Hawkins and step-father Johnnie Page.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Carlin Miller (Consuela), Melvin Miller, Jr. and Kendrick Miller (Demie), his mother, Lula Mae Page, five brothers, James (Tim) Miller (Dorothy) of Chicago, Illinois; Harvey Page (Charlotte) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Ronald Page (Frances) and Donald Page (Jackie) of Chicago, Illinois; Lexa Page of Camden, Arkansas; one sister, Johnnie Mae Windburn of Dallas Texas. Grandchildren, Joseph Miller, Christian Miller, Gabe Miller, Kendrick Miller, Jr. Chance Miller and Kenidy Miller.
