Michael was born to the late Michael Toney McGhee and Doris Banks on July 18, 1974.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Delois McGhee and Maternal grandmother Needer Oliver, Step-grandfather, Neal Elliott.

He accepted Christ at an early age at the Mt. Gillard Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James E. Johnson.  He was a 1992 graduate of Fairview High School.  He also attended Devry Business School and later Rester Barber College. He worked various jobs, lastly Fred's Dollar Store before his health failed.

He loved watching sports, and his favorite football team is the Philadelphia Eagles.  One of his favorite past times was spending memorable times with family and friends both young and old. He will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and friends.  Michael possessed a friendly and humble spirit.

Fondest memories will be cherished by his mother, Doris Banks, Stepfather, Jerry Banks of Camden; his children, Mikala Jenkins of Pine Bluff, AR, JaToney McGhee of Talequah, OK, and TaMiya Jenkins of Camden.  Aunts Donna (Gerry) Turner of Woodbridge, VA, Shirley (Thomas) Robinson of Little Rock, AR; Lois (Fred) Rogers of Balch Springs, TX, Gracie (David) Elliott of Camden, Carolyn Lewis of Camden; Uncle Curtis (Tammy) Oliver of District Heights, MD.  A special great aunt Ruby Utsey.

He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of cousins, special high school classmates and friends.  The New Starlight family will miss him dearly.
