The Life of Mother Ola Mae Russey

Ola Mae Russey, 95, of Chidester Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2025. She departed this life at home in the comfort of her children. She was the beloved daughter of the late Fannie Rivers who preceded her in death.

Ola was united in marriage to the late Noble Russey, Jr. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love knew no bounds.

She was a member of Good Hope A.M.E Church. Ola Mae Russey was witty, loving, and devoted to family. She loved the outdoors, playing with her pets, and fishing. She had her own style, she loved the Lord, and she was outspoken. She was the matriarch of the family.

Her two daughters preceded her in death Brenda Penny and Kay Frances Downs.

She leaves to cherish two daughters, Brenda (Mel) Ivory of Gum Springs, Arkansas, Chinetha R.Williams of Chidester, Arkansas, and one son Trent Penny of Chidester, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, William Fricks, Jr., Angela McKenzie, Wanda Fricks, Shameka Lewis, Latoya McKenzie, Chinetha "Pooh" Williams, Christopher Penny, and Armondrick Penny; a host of great grandchildren and other relatives in love.
