Pearl McKenzie was born on July 10, 1941, in Chidester, Arkansas to Earl and Marie McKenzie. She united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in the early 1980's where she remained faithfully until her passing.  Sister McKenzie worked at Ouachita County Medical Center from the early 1970's until 2000 when she retired due to health reasons. Sister McKenzie departed this life on August 11, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Sister McKenzie was proceeded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Pearl McKenzie leaves to cherish her memory one sister: Mearl Lee Scott of Cleveland, Ohio, one son: Jeffery L. Rogers and his wife, Pastor Angela Rogers, and two granddaughters: Jequetta and Beverly Rogers, all of Camden, Arkansas: a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
