Ray Henry Rideout was born to the union Roy and Matilda (Lambert) Rideout on December 29th, 1945, in Bearden, Arkansas. Ray's early childhood training was completed in the Ouachita County School system which he graduated from in 1965. After graduation Ray relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to join his 2 older sisters Frances Juniel and Mary Smith.  While in Milwaukee, he was gainfully employed by Cudahy Tannery for many years.  Later in the early 90's, he started employment with the Bearden Public School and worked there until retirement.

In December of 1967, Ray was united in Holy Matrimony to Miss Joyce Ann Cannedy of Eagle Mills, Arkansas to this union one child was born Arleshia.  Later he was blessed with is only son Ray Henry Jr.

Ray took pride in his family and when time allowed, he would visit his Milwaukee family as well.

Ray was always supportive to his children, Arleshia and Ray Jr as well. Ray would make sure he transported Ray Jr. to various football practices and games in South Central Arkansas and throughout the state.  It was very seldom to see Ray Jr. without his father's presence and encouragement as his #1 fan.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Arleshia Cannedy and companion Ed of Milwaukee, Wi, one son, Ray Henry Rideout, Jr and companion Jasmine of Bearden, Arkansas.; 4 grandchildren: Sheonta, Shaunique, J'Khyri and Essence Rae and one great-grandson Adonis; 4 siblings: Ms. Mary E. Smith and Mrs. Geardean (Lovelace) Redmond both of Milwaukee, Wi, Elder Junior (Johnnie ) Rideout of Portage, Indiana, Elder Leon (Regina) Rideout of McKinney, Texas; one sister  in law, Ms. Janice Rideout of Milwaukee, Wi and host of nieces nephews, cousins, family and friends. Even So Come Lord Jesus.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Matilda Rideout, his grandparents, Dock and Rosa Lambert and Adolphus and Mary Rideout, six infant siblings and two adult siblings,  Ms Francis Juniel and Mr. Lloyd Rideout.
