He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.~ Psalms 91:1
"And it is in that place, that we receive peace and comfort for our souls."
Brother Robert Lee Harbor Jr., the middle child of 3 and only son, was born on December 11, 1950, in Camden, Arkansas, to Mother Mattie Harbor and the late Superintendent Robert Harbor Sr. At an early age, he confessed to Christ, was baptized, and began accompanying the church choir on guitar. He was also an avid dog lover, fisherman, gamesman, video gamer, and pool player. After graduating from Lincoln High School in 1969, he attended the Capital City Business College, where he earned his broadcasting certification for radio and television, leading him to work with Channel 11 and another one of his passions, the country western genre.
In 1971, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a Boiler operator, and along with engineering, he continued to play guitar in Air Force bands, also excelling in sports, becoming a star point guard on the base basketball team (s), dubbed with the name "Radar" for his 3-point shooting. Brother Robert faithfully served at Greater Love Church, where he continued to play guitar; as a retired Veteran, enjoyed watching sports, especially the Fairview Cardinals, Razorbacks, and 49ers, and loved spending time eating and joking with family and friends!
Robert departed this life on September 7, 2026, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harbor Sr. and sister Linda Faye Banks.
He leaves behind to cherish and mourn: his beloved mother, Mattie Harbor of Camden, AR, sister and brother-in-law, Mattie and John Scott of Camden, AR; son, Vincent Harbor of Chicago, IL; son, Keelan Harbor of Camden, AR; daughter, Soncerae "Cuda" Harbor of Memphis, TN; 5 nephews, a niece, and a host of great-nephews, great-nieces, relatives, and friends.
