God loves a faithful and fearless Rose. This Rose sprung up in his garden on October 25, 1952, and God nurtured her by day and by night. On March 20, 2020, God decided to pick that Rose from His earthly garden and place her in her heavenly home. Gods' Rose Strickland was born to Rev L. C. Jones and the late Corine (Rone) Jones in Stockton, California.

Rose graduate in 1971 from Magnolia High School and went on to get   her Certified Nurse Assistant and worked at Bruce Street Nursing Home and later at Ouachita Nursing & Rehab Center in Camden, Arkansas. She enjoyed caring for others, family and friends.

Rose Strickland was joined in Holy Matrimony to John Strickland, Sr, on May 27, 2000.

Rose was preceded in death by her mother, Corine Jones, sisters Joyce Jones Matlock and Linda Ruth Jones (Harper)

Her memories will be cherished by her beloved husband John Strickland, Sr., her father, Rev L. C. Jones; sons, Coy Anderson of Hope, AR; and Chris Anderson of Atlanta, GA; daughter Tasha Anderson of Tuscaloosa, AL; children by marriage (step children), Connie Strickland of Tyler, TX; Tenna (Curtis) Rugeley of Dallas, TX; Bulinda Strickland of Star City, AR; John Strickland of Tyler, TX; Constance Nowden of Tyler, TX; brothers, Marvin (Patricia) Jones of Fort Worth, TX; Mike (Teresa) Jones of Texarkana, AR; Marcus (Yajayra) Jones of Mansfield, TX; and Darrell Jones of Magnolia, AR; step-brother, Byron Goode (LeThesa) of Little Rock, AR; sisters, Ester Shaw of Arlington, TX; Glenda Ali-Bakari of Dallas, TX; L. C. Rine (Gary) Easter of Weatherford, TX; Gloria (David) Dockery of Forney, TX; and LaNetta (Mosezeke) Johnson of Waldo, AR; step-sister, Cassandra Cooper-Williams of Magnolia, AR; step-mother, Charlotte Jones of Magnolia, AR; 10 grandchildren; host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
